Jemma Thomas (Senior Occupational Therapist)
Jemma has worked as an Occupational Therapist for over 18 years. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy in 2005 in the United Kingdom.
Jemma has worked in a wide range of clinical settings from acute hospitals, rehabilitation units and in the community. Jemma has worked in the public and private sectors in the settings of neurology, neuro- rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury teams, a national behavioural unit for brain injury and stroke rehabilitation.
Her main passion is working with clients who have sustained an acquired or traumatic brain injury; helping them to achieve their goals, regain life skills, improving participation in community activities and developing independence with activities of daily living.
Jemma has experience with complex home modifications, neuro rehab and specialist disability accomodation needs.
Jemma is able to goal set and develop specific rehabilitations plans based on the client’s goals; working in conjunction with families and care givers.
Outside of her working life, Jemma enjoys being active, keeping fit and socialising with friends.
Jemma provides services at the clinic or at your home.
